Position Overview & Specifications
AT DGCS Film & TV our Security teams help keep Film & TV productions running smoothly. We are seeking to recruit crew to work as part of a team of Security Officers at a London based studio and on various filming locations across the UK.
Initial Contract Period: 6 months, with potential to extend based on performance.
Job Description
- Successful candidates will need to be available to start immediately
- Must be available to work 12-to-14-hour day shifts or less
- Holding an existing DS SIA Licence
- Must have a valid UK driving licence and the use of your own car, as certain locations can be quite difficult to get to by public transport
- Must be willing to travel and stay away on location for up to five days if required
Main Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
- Croud control
- Access control at points of entry
- Manned guarding
- To always endeavour to provide a high standard of customer service that is professional, courteous and helpful
- Provide assistance and ensure that studio and location policies and procedures are adhered to
- Secure the production area and set and keep the staff & actors safe and from distractions
The Ideal Candidate
Essential
- Computer Literate
- Experience of time management
- To deliver a consistent level of service, within the Production's standards
- Have a sound knowledge of the Film & TV Industry
- Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures quickly
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good knowledge of basic Maths and English skills
