Role Overview & Responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised and self-motivated Agricultural Instructor based at our Houghall Campus (with an expectation that you will be able to work across all 3 sites) on a full time basis.
Main Duties Of The Role
Your role will be to deliver an ambitious curriculum to all through working as part of the agriculture teaching team, you will deliver a variety of engaging and challenging practical lessons throughout the week on our modern farm with a focus on livestock, machinery and estate skills. You will contribute towards the assessment of learners practical skills through regular progress tracking and formative assessment.
Essential Requirement
- Minimum of a level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline
- Recent industry experience in agriculture, working on a range of farms with machinery, livestock and estate experience.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- A passion for seeing young people achieve and progress
